Vahagn Mikayelyan

Mr. Vahagn Mikayelyan has joined Grant Thornton Amyot in 2003 as a Legal Adviser. He is now a manager in charge of legal and tax advisory assignments. Mr. Mikayelyan is a lawyer and has over 10 years experience in public and private sectors. He possesses highest qualities and professionalism both in legal and taxation spheres and has rich experience in areas of banking activities and financial operations.

Throughout the years Mr. Mikayelyan participated and led number of missions including general legal advisory, transaction support, on-going legal advisory, court representation services, tax advisory on development of taxation mechanisms as well as tax optimization and international taxation. Due diligence, negotiations, litigation and dispute resolution, other assignments concerning complex and critical issues are executed as well.

Mr. Mikayelyan is a corporate lawyer, having special experience in the areas of insolvency proceedings (insolvency of banks and other legal entities), regulation and supervision of the banks' and credit organizations' activities, law drafting, infrastructure management in water supply and electricity sector.
